A brief look at the life of the late Professor Dr. Gholam Hossein Marvasti:

Dr. Gholam Hossein Marvasti was born in Yazd in 1912. His father, Mirza Mohammad Alim Marvasti, as a teacher of religious sciences, was teaching a course of jurisprudence in the Theological School of Yazd. In the beginning years of Reza Shah and the formation of Judiciary, he joined the judiciary and continued to serve as a public prosecutor in Isfahan, Kerman and Kashan until his death.
After completing the religious sciences at Yazd Theological School on 1931, Dr Marvasti moved from Yazd to Tehran where he obtained a high school diploma. He succeeded the entering exam of medical science in the University of Tehran and continued to study medicine in that university.

About the Cultural Foundation:

If we accept the fact that human life is very short and insignificant compared to the life of this planet on which we live, then we will accept that it is a pity that the memory of influential human beings who built and served for their generation and beyond, it is a pity that their name in later generations be quickly vanished and forgotten in a short time.

Considering the above-mentioned thinking, we decided to keep the interests, attitudes and intellectual policy of the late Dr. Gholam-Hossein Marvasti alive and lasting as much as possible by establishing a foundation named after him.

In the hope that it may not be forgotten for a generation or two after him, and that this optimistic non-forgetfulness is a lasting legacy to motivate and encourage the future generation to continue their journey in his path in the service of our dear compatriots.

the Foundation's Goals:

Four strategic goals were defined for the Foundation's activities in order to gradually pursue and continue operational pursuits as much as possible.
1- Services in the field of health and medical education.
2- Services in the field of culture, education and sports.
3- Services in the field of publishing, including:
A) Publication of scientific books, especially medicine.
B) Publication of literary books of enduring myths of Persian literature.
4- Services in order to encourage professors and graduates in the field of ENT surgery who worked harder than other colleagues for education and innovation in this field and provided lasting services for the dynamism of this field.

Dr. Gholamhossein Marvasti:

One of the main goals of Dr. Marvasti Cultural Foundation, in addition to preserving and publishing the precious works of the late Dr. Gholamhossein Marvasti, is to create research opportunities for respected professors, especially dignitaries in Yazd province. Another main goal of the foundation is to strengthen and optimize skills of Indigenous people of Marvast city, and its development in the form of small local workshops and finally by connecting with these workshop networks, creating a sustainable and unique industry to be able to solve the job concerns of the zealous youth of Marvast city and as a bridge to a better future.

Dr. Marvasti Otolaryngology Clinic to commemorate my grandfather Dr. Gholamhossein Alim Marvasti, professor of ENT surgery at the University of Tehran and the founder of modern surgeries in this field, to continue the path of that great professor and my dear father Dr. Reza Alim Marvasti in order to offer the best services to our honorable compatriots is being established and it's under construction.
